Teen Programs
Programs are held at the Main branch of the Wayne Public Library & Wayne residents get preference for sign-up availability. Registration can be done online by visiting the Event Calendar above, beginning at the designated time on the registration date.

NOTE: If you are unable to attend a program, please kindly call the library in advance. This will allow others on the waiting list to attend the program, as well as prevent waste of materials.

WPL Y.A. Chess Club

Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6:15—7:15 PM

Come and develop your strategic skills and challenge a new opponent. Young Adults in grades 5—12 are welcome to play chess against our chess mentor Mr. J or each other. Online registration starts Thursday, April 18th at 7:00 AM.



Giant Word Winder

Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 4:00—5:00 PM

Get ready for some team fun! WORD WINDER is the game of winding words. Lay down your chips to form winding lines of words connecting one side of the board to the other. Outrace your opponents and block their lines. Strategy & Cunning! Offense, Defense and Temporary Alliances!

Open to Young Adults in 3rd through 8th grade.

Tech-Help from Teens for Your Electronic Devices

Do you have a gadget you need to know better? Get Device-Advice from our CommuniTeens. Register and bring your portable electronics and questions for one-on-one help.

TEEN TECH HELPERS: Young Adults in grades 5—12 interested in volunteering their time & tech skills should register online or contact Lisa to enlist.

AAA Safe Driving

STEM Interactive Workshop

Kelly, an honor student from Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) presents this STEM workshop. We will see who can build the strongest structure. Phases will begin with sketching, designing, and building so teamwork will be a must! The winners will receive a candy prize.
