Discuss & Debate Group

Meets weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays

10:00 AM -  12:00 PM

Join a group of your fellow community members to discuss and debate current events and other topics of interest in a lively environment! Discussions are held twice a week at the Wayne Public Library (please check the calendar for exceptions and locations in the library). No registration is necessary, and drop-ins are always welcome!

1-on-1 job help is intended to assist job seekers by providing them with information, tools, and resources to help them achieve their employment goals.  A librarian will work with you on a personal basis to help guide you toward your personal career objective.

Zoom Casual Spanish 45- Minute Conversation Classes for Adults (Mar/Apr/May) 

Zoom in for a casual & virtual gathering, while picking up common vocabulary & phrases in Spanish! We'll focus on pronunciation & practicality. During the class screen is shared and as phrases come up they are typed out. Afterwards Eleana emails what was written for your review.

Classes are 2 times/month on Mondays from 5:00-5:45 PM

Dates: 4/10, 4/17, 5/1, 5/15



Zoom "Sit, Stand and Be Fit" with d.e.b. (Spring March-May) 

Zoom in to do a variety of stretches, strengthening exercises, and cardio dancing with certified professional Debra Hanoka, MPH, ACE, CPT. (3 times/month at 5pm; please note Tuesday dates.) A chair is used for seated and standing exercises and support. This class is designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement and improve activities for daily living. Class can be modified depending on fitness levels. Age should not be a barrier to improve your health! 

Equipment: A sturdy chair is needed. Light weights & resistance bands can be used but are optional.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Technology Class 

Have you received a new tablet, laptop or smart device and aren't sure how to use it? Come join us and we can help you learn some basic skills so you become comfortable with the device. This will be a two session course.

Beginner Computer Classes

This is a series of beginner computer classes using Northstar Digital Literacy.  You will be able to work at your own pace and focus on the things you want to learn. The classes will take place in the library training center. This is a three session course.
