AARP’s Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities

Wayne Township is proud to announce membership in the AARP’s Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities.
We are the first community in Passaic County to receive this distinction!

As a member of the Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities, we have committed to becoming more age-friendly under criteria established by the AARP. The first step in this process requires input from YOU. We encourage all Wayne residents, 45 years and older, to fill out Wayne Township’s Age-Friendly Survey, so we can better understand your needs and begin planning what’s necessary to make Wayne more age-friendly in the future.

Surveys can be found at the Wayne Public Library, Wayne Health Department or online at http://survey.cmix.com/38ECDE70/G10DF6LT/en-US

Completed surveys can be dropped off at the Wayne Public Library circulation desk. The first, 500 surveys to be completed by October 28, will receive a $10 coupon for lunch at local food market. Coupons expire October 29, 2020 so be sure to get your survey submitted in time. For more information, call extension 3242.
